Meet Ken Roudybush
Head Coach, Principle Trainer & Softball Oregon Proprietor
Ken's academic background provides him with a solid teaching style for training fast pitch softball pitchers. Ken has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Southern California (USC), and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Cal State University at Long Beach. He further has a certificate from Harvard University for completion of an on campus training for "Senior Executives in State and Local Government". In addition he has served as the Chief Administrative Officer for Marion County, Oregon for over 19 years.
Ken has used his academic and executive leadership style in training pitchers. He breaks down the pitch into components to show the movement (mechanical) relationships in the overall motion. He has developed drills to strengthen these areas of weakness, and provides his students with constructive feed back to encourage and reward improvement.
His experience and accomplishments include:
- Trained over 8,000 pitchers in the past 27 years of operating a training center
- Conduct week-long summer, spring break, and winter break camps
- Has provided hundres of one and two day clinics
- Many of his pitchers (100 plus), have gone on to receive full or partial scholarships at Divsion I and smaller schools.
- Has developed two nationally distributed instructional videos, "Pitching in the Fast Lane" I and II.
- Personally played competitively for over 25 years, as both a pitcher and a third baseman
- Has received two patents for sports items
